From the Department of Public Health of the City of Molina de Segura has launched a process of public consultation to learn what citizens of the municipality think about the health resources needed in the municipality, as reported by the Councilor for Public Health, Esther Sánchez Rodríguez

Through a study conducted by the Municipal Health Council, Report on health care needs of Primary Care in Molina de Segura, six basic needs have been detected: third Health Center, located in the Cañada de las Eras;

strengthening of health personnel in health centers (nurses, pediatricians, physiotherapists);

administrative staff in the offices of the districts;

opening of health centers and consultations in the afternoons;

implementation of the Community Assertive Program and Center for Attention to Drug Addiction in the Mental Health Center;

and Emergency pediatrician.

The historical demand to bring more medical specialty consultations to the public health centers of Molina de Segura is added as an annex.

To do this, an email has been enabled, opinasalud@molinadesegura.es, so that citizens send their proposal about which they consider to be the most relevant and necessary for Molina de Segura.

The Department of Public Health, together with the Municipal Health Council, will study the feasibility and suitability of the proposals in a new report that adds to the one that has been made.

From the conclusion of the survey will be transferred to Area VI and Murcia Health Service, both managements responsible for the endowments of health centers and the improvement of services, and will be discussed open to the public at the next Municipal Council of Health.

For Esther Sánchez, "this process of citizen participation involves involving the residents of Molina de Segura in making decisions about the health resources of our municipality, we must support the initiatives of citizens to improve health services in primary care, since the users know firsthand the needs and can value those that they consider to be priorities ".
