The City of Molina de Segura has put to collection 68,719 receipts of Real Estate Tax (IBI) this year 2018, which means 134 receipts more than last year.
The expected collection is 20,118,081.13 euros, 0.40% more than in 2017.
The period of voluntary payment of Real Estate Tax includes from May 4 to July 5.
The neighbors enjoy a bonus of 5% per direct debit of the annual receipts of the IBI.
In 2018, 52.82% of the register benefits from this discount, in 1, 2 or 4 installments, with a total amount of 582,919.84 euros.
The taxation of large families improves this year, by introducing a bonus according to the cadastral value of the property and that benefits 944 families, for an amount of 239,716.82 euros.
In this way, a large family of general category would revalue their habitual residence up to 50%, and a large family of special category, up to 90%.
It also reduces the tax rate applied to real estate with special characteristics, such as those destined to the production of electrical energy (photovoltaic orchards), going from 0.74% to 0.60%.
The properties included in agricultural and other agricultural areas enjoy a bonus of 90% and 50%, respectively, adding 58,290.91 euros of bonus in 745 units.
VPOs are also reduced to 50%, benefiting 58 units, for an amount of 11,544.31 euros.
The Department of the Treasury recalls that last year different ordinances were modified to boost business activity in the municipality: ICIO, IAE, Activity Rate, etc.
