The president of the Popular Party of Molina de Segura, José Ángel Alfonso, returns satisfied from Madrid and announces that he will compensate 9 million euros to the farmers affected by the hail in the Region of Murcia.
On Friday, May 18, the president of the Popular Party of Molina de Segura, together with the national deputy and spokesperson for Agriculture in Congress, Ascensión Carreño, held a meeting with the Undersecretary of State for Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment in the Ministry, Jaime Haddad, and the director of the State Agricultural Insurance Entity (ENESA), José María García de Francisco, in which he was able to transfer the difficult situation that crosses the Campo de Molina de Segura after the hail storms of the last April 27.
José Ángel Alfonso wanted to thank Haddad not only his "availability from the first moment to give an immediate response to our farmers, streamlining for it the procedures of this grant of extraordinary aid to those affected", but also "the commitment taken from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, of an additional reduction of the IRPF for 2019 to all those agricultural exploitations that have suffered damages by these meteorological inclemencies ".
José Ángel Alfonso has reported that "there is a large number of affected farms that have Agrarian Insurance" and that compensation is expected "to arrive in mid-June, because the surveys are currently being carried out that will conclude next week" .
Since José Ángel Alfonso met with farmers in March, there have been many events that have taken place, meetings held, people involved and renewed hopes, in order to write chapters satisfactory to farmers of the road map that He marked with them.
