The Hospital de Molina has presented, on Wednesday May 23, the 6th Hospital Week.
A set of informative health activities, with which the Hospital Center, in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Health of the City of Molina de Segura, celebrates its eighteenth anniversary.
During the ceremony, - in which the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilor for Public Health of the Molina de Segura City Council, Esther Sánchez Rodríguez, and the Medical Director of the Molina Hospital, Eduardo Rodríguez were also present de la Vega Espinosa -, the Manager of the Molina Hospital, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, has highlighted that "Hospital Week responds to that commitment we maintain with our patients and with society in general and our deep involvement in meeting the needs and expectations This is why, for a week, with the help of our specialists and health professionals, I would like to thank them for their total willingness and collaboration - we will offer advice, activities, workshops, ... that will help all small and old people get a better quality of life, by incorporating healthy habits into their daily routines. "
During the week of May 28 to June 1, and under the title "Comprometidos contigo", Hospital de Molina will travel to different educational centers and social organizations to promote healthy habits, and will also reopen a space in the environment of its facilities in front of its main door to publicize its services at street level and develop different activities:
Free consultations on nutrition, smoking cessation, sexology, general assessments of health status, etc.
Ophthalmological and oral bucodentales reviews
Open days of gynecology and pediatrics
Workshop of Basic CPR and choking techniques
Talks on how to quit smoking, nutrition, traumatology, prevention of drug addiction and STD, menopause, postpartum pelvic floor, kaizen lean, ophthalmology, the work of the NGO Solidarity Surgery in Africa, etc.
Healthy lunch
Workshops on Physical Activity for Health, Nutrition, Postural Hygiene, Yoga, Music Therapy, etc.

At the same time, within the framework of the 6th Hospital Week, the different social organizations with which the Hospital de Molina collaborates closely - ASPAPROS, FEYCSA, Murcia Psychosocial Rehabilitation Association (ISOL), AFESMO, ASSIDO, FEDER, Cruz will also play a leading role. Roja, Cáritas and AECC -, thus giving visibility to their work and their activities.
The presentation of the 6th Hospital Week was held in the plenary hall of the Molina de Segura Town Hall.
