Socialist spokesman Joaquin Lopez Pagan and Mayor Esther Clavero claim loyalty to the regional government and undertake this investment, "because the City has already met all the requirements and invested what is necessary"
The spokesman of the Socialist Parliamentary Group Joaquín López Pagán, along with the deputy speaker Alfonso Martínez Baños, the representative Consuelo Cano, the mayor of Molina de Segura Esther Clavero, councilors and the pediatric Consuelo Lozano visited this morning the hamlet of Los Valientes, where they have demanded a sewage treatment plant so that the sanitation network becomes a reality in this Molinense district.
López Pagán denounced that "what is happening with this issue is that the Popular Party acts in a sectarian manner with the municipal governments that are not of their political sign."
Los Valientes is one of the historic districts of the municipality and its neighbors have been claiming for years to install the sewerage and sanitation network.
The socialist spokesman criticized the inaction of the PP in the City of Molina de Segura for allowing this situation, and also the disloyalty of the regional government, which budgeted enough money to carry out this infrastructure and is not doing it.
"The City Council has already met all the requirements and invested what is necessary, now it is up to the regional government to act responsibly and not punish these neighbors for partisan reasons, because it is unfair."
Joaquín López assured that the PSOE will be very demanding with the new counselor.
"We are going to ask you to give us the necessary explanations about why a consigned money, 500,000 euros, included in the regional budgets thanks to an amendment by the Socialist Parliamentary Group, are not implemented despite the effort being made by the City Council" .
For its part, Mayor Esther Clavero recalled that the PSOE has been presenting initiatives to respond to this demand for almost two decades.
"From the City Council we have made a great effort investing almost 600,000 euros in charge of the 2017 Municipal Budget for the implementation of sanitation service in consolidated urban land."
Clavero believes that the projection and execution of this work can not be delayed anymore and criticizes the lack of consideration of the regional government with these neighbors.
"The Town Council of Molina de Segura and this Government Team have complied with the neighbors, which is why we demand that the General Directorate of Water of the Autonomous Community do the same, we talk about essential and basic services and it is not tolerable that there are Molinians from first and second, "he said.
