This morning, the spokeswoman of the Popular Municipal Group, Sonia Carrillo, denounced in a press conference that "the incompetence of the current government team, chaired by socialist Esther Clavero, is endangering the Healthy Diet program, which is carried out in the educational centers of our municipality since 2006 and in which 32 centers currently collaborate, of which 11 are nursery schools, 13 public schools, 5 concerted and 3 private schools ".
Carrillo lamented that this program for children and adolescents, whose main objective is the prevention of obesity and that has been a success in previous years - the Molina de Segura City Council received the NAOS Award from the Ministry of Health in 2009-, is today "abandoned.
The delay in the awarding of this service together with the lack of control of compliance with them, has meant that during the months of April, May and June there has been no supervision by the City Council, so it is not being guaranteed. that the program is being delivered with total efficiency ".
"And what is more worrying, we are at the end of the school year 2017-2018 and still nobody has contacted the directives of schools to start working on next year's menus.
