The Educational Spaces Integration Program (PIEE), of the Youth Council of the Molina de Segura City Council, has completed the 2017-2018 academic year with the evaluation meeting and proposals with the coordinators of the participating secondary education centers of the municipality, As reported by the First Deputy Mayor and Youth Councilor, Fernando Miñana Hurtado.
Some 3,070 young people from the ESO courses of the centers participated in this course: IES Vega del Táder, IES Francisco de Goya, IES Cañada de las Eras, IES Eduardo Linares Lumera, CC El Taller, Los Olivos Educational Center, CC Salzillo , CC Vicente Medina and CC Sagrada Familia.
"The Program has been positively valued for its continuous renewal of the issues, its content and dynamics, its attempt to adapt to the needs of young people who are constantly evolving and to approach their reality and be a useful tool for its development ", explains Miñana.
During this course issues and strategies of awareness on issues of coexistence have been developed, highlighting the relationship between equals, coeducation, sexual affective education and sexual diversity.
They have also developed topics of healthy living, consumption of unhealthy substances and their influence on young people, and the use of social networks and their possible consequences in their lives.
The objective of fostering among young people the values ​​of participation and awareness about the usefulness of associationism is maintained.
