This morning, the spokesperson of the Municipal People's Group, Sonia Carrillo, has announced at a press conference, the motions that the Popular Party has presented for study, debate and approval to the full ordinary of July, to be held on Monday 30 .
The Palm Grove of El Rellano is the protagonist of the first initiative.
It is a natural space that, due to its environmental characteristics, could be added to the 16 arboreal formations that are included in the Monumental and Singular Trees Catalog of the Region of Murcia of the Monumental Arboreal Heritage Law.
"In Molina de Segura we have unique environmental spaces that differentiate us from the rest of the municipalities.
From the Popular Party we have always opted for the recovery of these places and with this motion we ask that this environment of ancient crops occupied by native wild vegetation of unquestionable community interest, be part of the environmental heritage both regional and municipal, "he explained.
For this to happen, it must be the City Council that performs the necessary procedures, urging the Directorate General of Natural Environment to include it in Annex II of Arboreal Formations of Law 14/2016, of November 7, of Arboreal Heritage Monumental, "so we requested that this process be initiated as soon as possible in order to enjoy this exceptional environment".
In the second of the proposals, "we wanted to highlight the work that Red Cross has been doing in our municipality since 1994 and we have asked the Government for greater involvement with that institution.
For this, we have urged him to collaborate in the acquisition of an Advanced Life Support ambulation that would facilitate the development of his activity;
to increase € 15,000 the agreement in the purely social aspect to reach more people;
that the advanced type ambulance service be included in the agreement they sign to facilitate their organization;
and that all the related training is carried out through an agreement and does not go out to tender ", said Carrillo.
The third initiative reflects an imperative need of our Region, the National Water Pact.
The popular mayor has argued that "for years, from the Popular Party of Molina de Segura we have been vindicating it, since Agriculture plays a fundamental role in our economy.

However, the latest statements of the Minister of Ecological Transition questioning the contributions of water from the transfers to consider that they are an extraordinary resource, has alerted the entire Levant, since ending them would mean putting in real danger the subsistence of the economy of the southeast of Spain and the jobs of thousands of families.
"We do not understand how a Minister is capable of making those claims, calling the water deficit myth or not recognizing the lack of water in the Segura basin despite the fact that there is a Basin Plan prepared by technicians who certify it."
CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW PALACE OF JUSTICE IN THE MUNICIPALITY
To conclude, Sonia Carrillo has advanced that "we have joined the joint motion that calls for the construction of a new Palace of Justice in Molina de Segura as it could not be otherwise because it was a proposal of the Popular Party in the Regional Assembly.
The one that exists is very small and obsolete and a municipality like ours, where the density of work is so high, needs adequate facilities.
For this, we have urged the Government of the Nation to carry out the works in a land that must be ceded by the City Council. "
