The Molina de Segura City Council and TM Real Estate Group collaborate with the Red Cross to prevent residential exclusion through economic housing rental services (31/07/2018)

The act of signing the collaboration agreement between the Molina de Segura City Council and the Spanish Red Cross, Molina-Vega Media Regional Assembly, for economic benefits of housing rental and the collaboration agreement between TM Real Estate Group and Spanish Red Cross, Regional Assembly Molina-Vega Media for the Prevention of Residential Exclusion Project took place today, Tuesday, July 31, in the municipality of Molinense.

The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of the Spanish Red Cross, the Molina-Vega Media Regional Assembly, María José Almagro García, the President of the Real Estate Group, Ángeles Serna Lorente, and the Housing Councilor, Rocío Balsalobre, attended. Sánchez.

The agreement of collaboration between the City of Molina de Segura and the Spanish Red Cross, Regional Assembly Molina-Vega Media, for economic benefits of rental of housing is aimed at the management of economic benefits in terms of temporary housing lease, designed to alleviate or solve, by themselves or in addition to other resources and benefits, situations of social emergency of access to the habitual residence by units of coexistence.

The economic benefits will try to prevent situations of social exclusion, as well as favor the permanence in the environment of origin of families with scarce economic resources to cover their basic needs.

According to the Councilor for Housing, Rocio Balsalobre, "the importance of this action is undoubted, since it contributes to the temporary stability in a house for especially vulnerable family units and meets the objective of facing, without further delay, the situation of enormous difficulty that families who suffer daily eviction from their homes are living, trying, in short, to prevent this economic adversity from turning into social exclusion ".

The economic benefit may be requested by the tenants of dwellings in general with a lease contract signed on the date prior to the request for the benefit, provided that the leased house constitutes their habitual and permanent residence, as well as that they meet the established requirements.

Special attention and preference will be given in the granting of benefits, the following groups: families with weighted incomes equal to or lower than 1 of the IPREM, single-parent families, victims of gender violence, large families, families with a member with recognized disability , with degree equal to or greater than 65% or dependency in Grade III, people affected by eviction, who have lost their homes due to foreclosures, excluding dation in payment, families included in professionalized social support projects, both from public entities as private, and victims of terrorism.

The benefits will be processed and resolved in chronological order of presentation, attending in the first place to the preferred groups.

The recipients of the benefits will be the persons who own the home (lessee), whether it is a natural person or legal entities.

The municipal economic benefits in the matter of housing will be destined to partially cover the rental income of the habitual residence that, at most, have an amount of 450 euros per month.

The maximum limit of the amount of the benefit will be 800 euros or a minimum of two monthly rent.

The deadline for submitting applications will be every Friday from July 15 to October 31.

The application, accompanied by the required documentation, will be presented at the Molina-Vega Media Red Cross Assembly, on Avda. De la Industria, s / n of Molina de Segura, in the space provided for the processing of these aids.

The resolution will correspond to Red Cross Molina-Vega Media, which must occur before December 15, 2018. After this period has elapsed without the express resolution has been produced and notified thereof, the applicant may understand dismissed his request for administrative silence.

For its part, the collaboration agreement between TM Real Estate Group and Spanish Red Cross, Regional Assembly Molina-Vega Media for Project of Prevention of Residential Exclusion aims at the collaboration, by mutual agreement, between TM Real Estate Group and Red Cross Molina for develop the Project for the Prevention of Residential Exclusion, which will consist of the economic contribution for the payment of rent, to the family units of the municipality that live in this regime in a situation of special need or risk of social exclusion.

For this, TM Real Estate Group is committed to collaborate financially with the Regional Assembly Spanish Red Cross of Molina de Segura Vega Media, with the donation of the amount of 12,000 euros.

This contribution will be used to partially pay the rental income of 45 beneficiary families, payment / payment that will be managed in accordance with the provisions agreed with the collaboration agreement signed between the Spanish Red Cross and the Molina de Segura Town Council, which is attached as Annex to this Agreement.

Red Cross is committed to fully allocate the contribution of TM to collaborate with the City of Molina de Segura in the granting of financial assistance / benefits to 45 family units of the municipality, who, living on a rental basis, are in a situation of special need , without resources or at risk of social exclusion and / or with housing needs;

and the management of the files of each one of the family units as well as the execution of the processing of the file for its later resolution on the part of the Department of Housing of the City council of Molina de Segura.

Cruz Roja will be responsible for the management of human resources, hired personnel and volunteers to carry out the activity described in this agreement, as well as the activity and maintenance expenses derived from them.

To carry out the management of aid contemplated in both agreements, the following budget is available:

Municipal subsidy City of Molina de Segura: 23,780 euros

Contribution from the private company TM Real Estate Group: 12,000 euros

Total project: 35,780 euros
