The Department of the Environment organizes this activity, starting at 7.30 pm, at the El Jardín Center, to publicize the actions carried out by the environmental volunteer program and encourage citizens to participate in the conservation of the environment
The Environmental Volunteering Program Volunteers Naturally !, promoted by the Department of Environment of the City of Molina de Segura, proposes, after a brief break in its activity for the holiday period, an Open Day to publicize the different actions with which the program has contributed to the improvement of the natural spaces of the municipality and the urban environment, as well as the new proposals for this 2018/2019 academic year.
This activity will take place on Thursday, September 20, at 7:30 p.m., at the El Jardín Center (on Calle Profesor Joaquín Abellán).
In this Open Day, attendees can learn about the richness of the natural spaces of Molina de Segura, the proposals to collaborate in the improvement of the urban environment and the importance of citizen participation for the conservation of our environment.
People interested in this environmental volunteer program will receive all the necessary information for their participation.
To attend this day, no prior registration is necessary and admission will be free until full capacity is reached.
According to the Councilor for the Environment, Juan Alcaide Quirós, "with this activity of the Environmental Volunteering Program, we intend to involve the citizens of Molina de Segura in the actions to improve the natural spaces and the urban environment that we have with the collaboration of volunteers, to whom I would like to thank for their involvement and contribution to the dissemination of the environmental values ​​of our municipality, and encourage the entire population to participate in the knowledge, value and conservation of our natural and urban environment, collaborating every month in the activities of this program ".
The activities of this program take place on the last Saturday of each month and are aimed at all those over 14 years old interested in the conservation of natural areas and the improvement of the municipality.
