The Mayor visits the works today, Wednesday, October 3, at 5:00 p.m., as well as work on Avenida del Montañal, in Altorreal, the construction of a new Fairground and the redevelopment of land on which the two new sports halls will be built.
The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Public Road, Municipal Works and Infrastructure, carries out a total investment of 286,975 euros in the improvement works of the Football Field, the creation of the new park of Avenida del Montañal and the conditioning of sidewalks of Avenida del Montañal, all in the Altorreal urbanization, and corresponding to actions chosen through the Participatory Budgeting process 2017.
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, accompanied by the Councilor for Public Roads, Municipal Works and Infrastructure, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Pedro Jesús Martínez Baños, and municipal technicians, make a visit to the works of installation of artificial grass and construction of costumes today, Wednesday, October 3, at 5:00 pm, on the soccer field of the Altorreal urbanization.
Next, visit to other municipal works: construction of a new park and conditioning of sidewalks in Avenida del Montañal, also in Altorreal urbanization;
construction of the new Municipal Exhibition Center, in the El Tapiado industrial estate;
and redevelopment of land where two new sports pavilions will be built, in the El Romeral Sports Center (on Avenida García Lorca, s / n).
As for the improvement works of the Soccer Field, the creation of the new park of Avenida del Montañal and the conditioning of sidewalks of Avenida del Montañal, the Mayor has informed that the football field will be completed at the end of this month of October , while the rest of works on Avenida del Montañal will conclude throughout the month of November.
These actions were chosen within Zone 3, where the Urbanizations are included, through the Participatory Budgeting process 2017.
The construction works of the Molina de Segura Fairground have an investment of more than 1,600,000 euros.
It will be located between José Cremades and La Piña streets, on a 26,183m2 municipal plot, which consisted of a large number of industrial buildings that were demolished.
The project is divided into 5 phases of execution, and currently the 1st action, Spatial Planning, for the amount of 579,469.00 euros, and the second phase, urban services replenishment, amounting to 206,960.11 euros are being made .
The works began on July 18 and have an expected execution period of 4 months, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
In this first and second action is going to perform the conditioning of the plot, for the formation of the main esplanade, which will be paved with asphalt agglomerate, as well as the interior execution of all services associated with the use of the site (supply, sanitation, public lighting, energy supply, etc.).
To this end, it is currently proceeding to the demolition of all the elements and remains of foundations of the old ships existing in the plot, and then, work will begin to provide the services.
The third action, amounting to 328,000.00 euros, contemplates the burial of overhead lines and the construction of a transformation center for the supply of electricity to the site.
And the 4th action, management and improvement of perimeter road safety, will involve an investment of 500,000.00 euros, which will improve the ordering of access, road and pedestrian safety in the vicinity of the Exhibition Center.
With the losses that are generated in the awards of each of the five phases, already has a sixth project, which will be the provision of service booths, to completely complete the fairground, which will be fully completed by mid-2019.
Finally, the Mayor and the councilors will visit the redevelopment of land where two new sports pavilions will be built, in the El Romeral sports center (on Avenida García Lorca, s / n).
The project of pavilion II and pavilion III was awarded last September to the UTE Romebell Pavilions, for an amount of 1,320,299.90 euros.
