The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Public Roads, Municipal Works and Infrastructures, carries out a total investment of 71,459.83 euros in the works of execution of the collection collector of rainwater in the hamlet of La Torrealta , corresponding to actions chosen through the 2017 Participatory Budgeting process.
The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, accompanied by the Councilor of Public Road, Municipal Works and Infrastructure, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Pedro Jesús Martínez Baños, and municipal technicians, make a visit to the works today Tuesday, October 9, at 6:00 pm, in the hamlet of La Torrealta (in the entrance area from Molina de Segura, next to the Church).
Then, at 7:00 p.m., visit to the construction works of the new Municipal Exhibition Center, in the El Tapiado industrial estate.
The works of La Torrealta, awarded to the company Talleres y Conducciones Juanito, SL, include the provision of a general collection collector for rainwater, in the downtown area of ​​this hamlet of huerta, parallel to the Ctra. RM-560, where to date, the water, due to poor evacuation of the road, was flooded, causing continuous problems to the residents of the area.
The construction works of the Molina de Segura Fairground have an investment of more than 1,600,000 euros.
It is located between José Cremades and La Piña streets, on a 26,183m2 municipal plot, which consisted of a large number of industrial buildings that were demolished.
The project is divided into 5 phases of execution, and currently the 1st action, Spatial Planning, for the amount of 579,469.00 euros, and the second phase, urban services replenishment, amounting to 206,960.11 euros are being made .
The works began last August and have an expected execution period of 4 months, which is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
All the earthworks and the demolition of slabs and foundations that jutted out of the ground, and where you can see the large area that is going to be allocated to the Fairground.
In this first and second action is carried out the conditioning of the plot, for the formation of the main esplanade, which will be paved with asphalt agglomerate, as well as the interior execution of all services associated with the use of the site (supply, sanitation, public lighting, energy supply, etc.).
The third action, amounting to 328,000.00 euros, contemplates the burial of overhead lines and the construction of a transformation center for the supply of electricity to the site.
And the 4th action, management and improvement of perimeter road safety, will involve an investment of 500,000.00 euros, which will improve the ordering of access, road and pedestrian safety in the vicinity of the Exhibition Center.
With the losses that are generated in the awards of each of the five phases, already has a sixth project, which will be the provision of service booths, to completely complete the fairground, which will be fully completed by mid-2019.
