Esther Clavero, current Secretary General of the PSOE and mayor of Molina de Segura, will again be a candidate in the next municipal elections, once the deadline for submitting candidacies has expired and no other militant has been nominated.

Clavero is grateful for the support of his fellow Molinians and says he takes this opportunity to continue with the project begun after taking over the direction of Consistorio Molinense in March 2016, following the resignation of the previous mayor for being investigated in a case of prevarication.

"In these three years we have launched a progressive project, designing a modern, dynamic and lively city, in contrast to the lethargy into which the previous PP Government team had plunged it," says the mayor.

Clavero adds that "we have been an example of dialogue, consensus and negotiation, the proof that we have been able to adapt to the new times and in just three years we have shown signs of revitalizing our industry and our trade, with clear signs of a city more livable, healthier and more democratic ".

The Government Team of Esther Clavero took the reins of the city with a City Council sprinkled by corruption and its commitment has been to clean the image of the town and also to return their identity, reinforcing the link with developments and districts, create new equipment that enhance the revitalization of the municipality and recovering and improving other spaces.

In his efforts to place the city in its rightful place, he sees closer the reality of a Palace of Justice in the municipality and is pleased to have guaranteed the 400 jobs of the municipal company Sercomosa, which he found practically in bankruptcy in its entrance in the Government, as well as to have been able to collaborate in the negotiations to equally guarantee the continuity of the Inheritance of Irrigators.

The Mayor notes that Molina de Segura is now managed in a more transparent, honest and responsible way, and this can be verified by checking that the City has more sound accounts from the entry to the government of Clavero and his team.

"I hope to have the support of the people of Molinense and, as up to now, to continue working for and for them, that is the only reason that should bring us to politics," concludes the re-elected socialist candidate.
