With the reduction of the IBI, the aim is to reduce the tax burden on the neighbors, boost the circular economy, by promoting the installation of solar panels and the installation of photovoltaic gardens.

The tax rate applied to urban goods is reduced by 1%, from 0.74% to 0.73%.

Since 2000, the IBI has risen 35% from 0.55% to 0.74%, passing in 2013 to 2015 to 0.814%, in addition to a revaluation of 10% of the cadastral values.

It will apply Bonus for use of solar energy, with a bonus of 40% on the receipt of the IBI for 3 years to the installation of electrical utilization systems with a minimum installed power of 2 kw.

The bonus to the established solar panel installations will be a pioneer in the Region of Murcia, and has been agreed with the National Association of Producers and Installers of Renewable Energies (ANPIER).

The tax rate of the BICES (Special Properties) is lowered to the legal minimum of 0.40%.

These goods are solar farms.

Molina de Segura applied to solar farms the highest type, the urban 0.74% until last year, when the current government team already lowered it to 0.60%.

"Conscious and supportive of the necessary support to the diffusion of renewable energies in our municipality, and given the scarce existing facilities, an active policy of attracting solar installations is necessary", points out the Councilor for Finance.

With the reduction of the Mechanical Traction Vehicle Tax, the tax burden on residents will be reduced and taxation will be improved for transport companies in Molina de Segura, through environmental criteria, also increasing the discount, by direct debit of the 3 % to 5%, and a bonus of 25% of the quota is established for industrial vehicles that meet the environmental standard Euro6 or higher.

On the other hand, the decrease of the IAE will increase the competitiveness of the companies installed in Molina de Segura, by applying lower taxes to the rest of the Region of Murcia.

In addition, the ICIO bonus percentage is increased from 85% to 95% for non-profit entities.
