The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Public Road, Municipal Works and Infrastructure, carries out a total investment of 581,560.41 euros in the remodeling and refurbishment works of the Company Park, in part corresponding to actions chosen through the 2017 Participatory Budgeting process.
The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, accompanied by the Town Planning Councilor, José de Haro González, the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Pedro Jesús Martínez Baños, and municipal technicians, paid a visit to the works on Wednesday, October 17, 5:00 pm, at the Parque de la Compañía.

Two projects are being carried out simultaneously in the Parque de la Compañía for the improvement and revitalization of the Park.
On the one hand, the improvement works chosen are being carried out under the 2017 Participatory Budgeting. Within the Project for Endowment and Improvement of Infrastructures in various Municipal Parks and Gardens, divided into three lots, actions to improve the infrastructure of the park, worth 244,714.32 euros.
The main actions that are carried out are:
The improvement of the paving of the 3 rides on land from Plaza de España to the main promenade (where the fountain is) as well as the two transversal ones.
They are made of paving stone with perimeter artificial grass and renovation of all urban furniture.
Replacement of the perimeter enclosure of the biosaludables games and replacement of urban furniture (banks).
Improvement of the perimeter enclosure of the parterre where the ferris wheel is located.
The installation of new lighting along the walk parallel to the Plaza de España next to the biosaludables games.
The adaptation, expansion and improvement of pipican enclosures and facilities.
The paving of the accesses to the platform where the meteorite is located, on the side of the Park, with Avda. De la Noria.
The improvement of the perimeter zone and stay in the southeast area of ​​the Park, improving accessibility and the area of ​​stay.
Adaptation of the entrance area to the Park, from extension of Paseo Rosales, placing two new lighting points and creating a ramp to improve accessibility to the south, where children's games are located.
Perimeter improvement of the railing of the fountain and parterre.
The execution process is being developed with little impact on the users.
The zones are delimited and are finalized before beginning another action, which allows the use and commissioning as soon as the action is finished.
There is a second action, charged to Participatory Budgeting, which will be the placement of the protection candles of the children's play areas, which will be coordinated for their execution during the renovation works of the games.
On the other hand, with charge to municipal investment, the works collected in the Project of Remodeling and Adaptation of Squares, Parks and Gardens, remodeling of the lower area of ​​the park, amounting to 336,846.09 euros are being carried out.
The main actions taken in this action will be the improvement and remodeling of the playgrounds, which were so deteriorated, the improvement of accessibility of all annexed areas, which were on land, paved with cobblestone pavements. improves the irrigation system, new trees are planted and different areas are enabled for new uses, such as a reading area, a new skating practice track and a new area for calisthenics training.
They also provide biosaludables games and new street furniture.
The remodeling of the area affects a total area of ​​5500 m2.
"With the action that is being developed, the green lung that represents the Park of the Company will be valued, providing it with the necessary recreational infrastructures for the enjoyment of the residents of Molina de Segura", highlights the Mayor.
The works are being carried out by the companies Advance and Development of Works and the lower area of ​​the park by API Mobility.
Works are also being carried out in the Los Vientos Urbanization, which are in the final phase.
It's about two performances.
On the one hand, the Renovation Project of the Supply Service, which improves and guarantees a correct water supply to the neighborhood, now having two independent entrances that guarantee the supply to the neighborhood.
And, on the other hand, some works that have been repeatedly requested on West Street, such as the correction of slopes of the road for the proper evacuation of rainwater, which is associated with the remodeling of the entire sidewalk of the street .
The works have had a cost of 151,466.16 euros, for those of replacement of supply, and 47,000 euros, for improvement of the evacuation of West Street.
