The Town Council of Molina de Segura has organized two new environmental activities in the Visitor Information and Welcome Center of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar Salar Gordo on Sunday 21 October.
The center opens its doors on the first and third Sunday of each month from 10:00 to 14:00.
At 10:30 a guided tour of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar will take place, a tour to discover its origin, the characteristics of these aquatic systems, as well as the variety of fauna and vegetation associated with them, paying special attention to waterfowl.
During the tour participants can make observations with telescope and binoculars.
After the route, at 12.30 the salt workshop will be developed, an entertaining activity for all the public, where the assistants will be able to know the characteristics that this element has, the adaptations of the plants to survive saline environments and other mineral forms that we can find in the surroundings of Molina de Segura.
Participation is free and registration is not necessary, except for groups of more than 10 people.
It is recommended to bring water, hat, sunscreen and comfortable clothes and shoes.
