The Hospital de Molina hosts the traveling exhibition on the Sustainable Development Goals of the FADE Foundation (22/10/2018)

After passing through the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Clinical Hospital and the Morales Meseguer General University Hospital, the traveling exhibition Live Solidarity through the ODS has been installed at the main entrance of the Hospital de Molina, where you can visit during the next two weeks.

Organized by the FADE Foundation, the exhibition aims to raise awareness among patients, family members, visitors and staff of the hospital center about this ambitious United Nations initiative to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. .

The exhibition - which was inaugurated by the Regional Minister of the Presidency of the Region of Murcia, Pedro Rivera Barrachina, the General Director of the EU, External Action and Cooperation, Manuel Pleguezuelo Alonso, the General Director of Health Care of the Ministry of Health, Roque Martínez Escandell, the President of the FADE Foundation, Macarena Perona Guillamón, the Director of the FADE Foundation, María Solís Martí, the Director-Manager of the Molina Hospital, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, and the Councilor for Tourism, Handicrafts and Local Festivities of the Molina City Council de Segura, Andrés Martínez Cervantes - travels the 17 SDGs through various cooperation projects carried out by the FADE Foundation in Bolivia, Cameroon and Cote d'Ivoire, as well as various local projects focused on women (the APORTA project) and minors (SECUNDA EDUCA Project) in a situation of vulnerability that develops in the Region of Murcia.

All this with special emphasis on the objective linked to the right to drinking water and sanitation (SDG 6).

For its part, Hospital de Molina has been a member of the United Nations Global Compact since 2015, since then taking on the commitment to the Ten Principles related to Human Rights, Labor, the Environment and the Fight against Corruption, and with the SDGs: "We channel actions to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly with the SDGs 3 Health and well-being, SDG 5 Gender equality, SDG 13 Climate action and SDG 17 Alliances to achieve the objectives, in the conviction that as part of the private sector we have a leading role in the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations ", explains Pedro Hernández Jiménez.

The exhibition, which can be visited at the Hospital de Molina until November 5, is part of the project Live solidarity through the ODS, in which the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia collaborates through the call for grants for Education and Development Awareness projects.
