The Molina de Segura Market for Flowers and Crafts 2018 is celebrated from October 30 to November 1 (22/10/2018)

The sporting event HALLOWEEN SPORT FEST 2018 celebrates its second edition on Wednesday, October 31, at 18.00, through the streets of the city

The Market of the Flowers and Handicrafts 2018 of Molina de Segura, promoted by the councils of Markets, Tourism, Handicrafts, and Local Celebrations of the Molinense City Council, is celebrated on October 30 and 31 and November 1, at the entrance to the Park of the Company by Paseo Rosales.

The activity, along with the Halloween Sport Fest 2018 event organized by the Department of Sports and Health, was presented at a press conference on Monday, October 22, by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilor for Markets, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, and the Councilor for Tourism, Crafts and Local Celebrations, Andrés Martínez Cervantes.

Coinciding with the celebration of the feast of All Saints, the Molinense City Council maintains the traditional sale of flowers, which has been carried out since 1992, and the offer is maintained with craft stalls and gastronomy, and other activities.

On this occasion, the market will have the participation of 10 flower stands, corresponding to 9 street vendors from the weekly markets of Molina de Segura, authorized for this sale, and a local florist.

All of them have been invited for this activity after a call to each florist of the municipality.

Also installed: a chestnut stand, one of pickles, one of honey, jam, pralines, churros, waffles, popcorn, paparajotes with reclining coffee, typical Murcian sausages, costume jewelery, handmade soaps, incense, textiles, and leather.

These dates are celebrated in Spain with special characteristics.

A few days before this celebration, the relatives of the deceased move to the cemeteries to decorate them with all kinds of flowers, among which we can highlight by tradition the chrysanthemums, roses and dahlias.

For this reason, this Market of Flowers and Handicrafts is organized, with the aim of enabling a point of sale for three days, to facilitate the entire population of this town and other nearby Vega Media, the purchase of flowers.

All this accompanied by an extensive program of complementary activities, which highlights the sporting event HALLOWEEN SPORT FEST 2017, which takes place on Wednesday, October 31, at 18.00, through the streets of the city (departure from Plaza de España) .

Halloween Sport Fest consists of a march of disguises with a unique subject, Halloween, about 2 kilometers, through the streets of the town, with a marked playful, massive, intercultural, intergenerational and sports.
