The act of signing a collaboration agreement between the City of Molina de Segura and the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER) to support patients and families affected by rare diseases has taken place today, Monday, October 22, in the municipality of Molinense .
The signature was attended by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of FEDER, Juan Carrión Tudela, the Councilor for Public Health, Esther Sánchez Rodríguez, and the Delegate of FEDER in Murcia, David Sánchez González.
The purpose of this agreement is the granting of a municipal grant amounting to 5,000 euros to the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases, which aims to support patients and families affected by rare diseases and strengthen associations through different lines of work.
FEDER was created with the mission of being the voice of people with rare diseases and their families, to defend, protect and promote the rights of the more than 3 million people with rare diseases in Spain, making their common needs visible, proposing solutions to improve their hope and quality of life, and fighting so that the full social, health, educational and labor integration of the affected people is guaranteed in conditions of equity.
