Redexis Gas, one of the leading companies dedicated to the transportation and distribution of natural gas in Spain, has signed an agreement with Plásticos del Segura-PDS Group - a company dedicated to the manufacture of packaging - for the installation of natural gas in its infrastructures located in Beniaján
The director of Redexis Gas of the Mediterranean area (Murcia and Alicante), Pedro Santos, and the head of Industrial in the Region of Murcia of this company, Angel Cubero, have met with Pedro Bernabé Belando, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PSG Group and one of the founding partners, and have recently visited the company's facilities.
The supply is expected to begin in early December.
For this, Redexis Gas has made a main infrastructure that includes the execution of a connection in MPO 16 and a high pressure network of more than 900 meters.
Plásticos del Segura, which will adapt its production process to natural gas, will reach an estimated annual consumption of natural gas of 5 GWwh and a maximum flow rate close to 300 m3 / h.
In his visit to the facilities of PDS Group, Pedro Santos stressed that "natural gas offers greater performance and energy efficiency, as it is an improvement in the processes to provide continuous supply and without cuts."
In addition to being a source of energy that allows a great saving in the costs of annual consumption, "it reduces CO2 emissions considerably, converting the companies that use it into companies that are much more sustainable and respectful with the environment", he added.
For his part, Pedro Bernabé Belando said that "PDS is a company committed to the environment and efficient consumption, we have an R & D team that is continuously trying to innovate and develop with new criteria, products and processes. , with fundamental strategic objectives in the progressive reduction of environmental impacts ".
