The act of signature of the nominative grant agreement of the Molina de Segura Town Council to the Casa de Andalucía Cultural Association in Molina de Segura took place today, Thursday, November 29, in the municipality of Molinense.
The firm was attended by the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, and the President of the Casa de Andalucía Association in Molina de Segura, Concepción Castro Aragón.
The purpose of this agreement is the granting of a nominative grant from the Molinense City Council, amounting to 1,000 euros, to the Casa de Andalucía Cultural Association in Molina de Segura for the promotion of Andalusian music and traditions in the municipality during the year 2018 .
According to the Mayor, "the essence of the agreement we have just signed is to share the Andalusian traditions with the residents of Molina de Segura, and demonstrate that the close ties that have always united us to Murcia and Andalusia, continue being strong, the Regional Houses have always provided important support in the structuring of our country and have been able to become open spaces for communication, culture and development ".
"The House of Andalusia of Molina de Segura, since its inception, has managed to understand perfectly that the goal is not to separate or distance, but, far from outdated feelings of melancholy or longing, the purpose should always be to enrich the culture, sharing experiences, "says Esther Clavero.
The association carries out an extensive program of activities that takes place throughout the year.
Among these activities are the commemorative events of the Day of Andalusia around February 28, the feast of the Cross of May, the Pilgrimage of the Virgen del Rocío and Our Lady of Consuelo or the many performances performed by the Choir Rociero Cruz de Mayo , not forgetting the close collaboration that exists with the councils of Equality and Social Welfare in the organization of activities where women are the protagonists.
To all this, now we must add the Contest of Villancicos Rocieros, which will be held on December 16 at the Teatro Villa de Molina.
