The City of Molina de Segura carries out a total investment of 299,475 euros in construction of the new sports and recreation area of ​​the San Antonio neighborhood.
The Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, accompanied by the Councilor for Public Road and Municipal Works, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, and municipal technicians, makes a visit to the works today, Monday December 3, at 5:00 pm, on the Avenida del Chorric
Next, visit to the renovation works of supply networks on streets 17 and 23 of the Los Conejos Urbanization.
In the San Antonio neighborhood, the project includes all the conditioning actions of the existing site, for the remodeling and obtaining of a recreational sports area, adapted to the existing needs in the neighborhood.
It also includes the provision of an enclosure adapted for dog area, of 300 m2, in the Miguel Ángel Blanco Annex Garden.
Until now, there was a sports area on a 4,500 m2 site, with a sports court of 44x23 m.
in use and a football field on land, with hardly any use.
The works will allow obtaining a recreational and sports area, which includes various actions focused on the creation of a natural circuit, perimeter to the installation, the creation of a new basketball court and the recovery of the existing indoor soccer court, installing also several grandstands.
The leisure and play area will have two areas of 150 m2 each, intended for children's games, a calisthenics zone for the elderly, and a biosaludable play area, as well as living areas, all interspersed in a wide variety of trees that are planned to be planted.
General Plan for Design and Management proposed
The works were awarded to the company CONSTRUARCHENA, and have a term of execution of 6 months.
Works are also carried out in the Los Conejos Urbanization, which are in the final phase.
Within the works of improvement, through the Canon of the Service of Supply and Sanitation, the City of Molina de Segura has proceeded to the replacement of the general network and household connections of supply in the streets called 17 and 23 of the Urbanization Los Conejos .
In these roads, due to the deterioration of the general network and connections, during the summer, there have been repeated breakdowns of the general network, which is why the construction, contracting and execution of the works have been carried out quickly, in order to replace the quality of the service and avoid the inconveniences to the neighbors.
The investment of the project has amounted to 94,565.13 euros, and the works began on October 15, 2018, and are now in phase of replacement of the paving and execution of the connections of the connections, so that in brief days, service will be given through the new networks.
A total of:
Calle 17: replacement of 361 linear meters of HDPE pipe Ø110mm and 14 residential connections.
Calle 23: replacement of 290 lineal meters of HDPE pipe Ø110mm and 17 residential connections.
Therefore, in total more than 650ml of general network and 31 home connections have been replaced, which will ensure the service to these 31 families, who have endured so many problems for months.
The works have been carried out by the company Construcciones Talleres y Conducciones Juanito SL.
