The Town Council of Molina de Segura has organized two new environmental activities in the Visitor Information and Reception Center of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar Salar Gordo on Sunday, February 17.
The center opens its doors on the first and third Sunday of each month, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, to publicize the environmental values ​​of this wetland, its fauna and flora, as well as the figures of protection, its conservation, equipment, recommendations and standards to make the visit to this protected natural space.
At 10.30 a guided tour of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar will take place, to learn about the mammals that inhabit it.
During the tour you can see the traces and remains left by these animals and their daily movements.
In addition, participants will have a telescope and binoculars with which to observe the birds.
After the route, at 12.30 a workshop will be held on the otter and other mammals of the lagoons, where we will deepen a little more in the knowledge of this faunal group and make molds of their tracks.
The activity is focused on young people and adults.
Participation is free and it is not necessary to make prior registration, except for groups of more than 10 people.
It is recommended to bring water, hat, sunscreen and comfortable clothes and shoes.
