The Environmental Volunteering Program Volunteers Naturally !, promoted by the Department of the Environment of the City of Molina de Segura, offers an activity to locate emblematic and significant trees for possible inclusion in the Municipal Catalog of trees and trees of interest local, monumental and unique, which will take place on Saturday, February 23, at 10.00.

Volunteers who participate in this activity will have the opportunity to collaborate in the localization of trees and groves that are susceptible to be included in the Municipal Catalog of trees and trees of local interest, monumental and singular.

A brief identification training of the arboreal species and of the inclusion criteria will be taught in this catalog, followed by a tour of the orchard area closest to the urban center, for the location of these specimens and the realization of their correct identification card, which will be sent to the Department of the Environment.

As explained by the Councilor for the Environment, Juan Alcaide Quirós, "with this activity of the Environmental Volunteering Program, the citizens of Molina de Segura can contribute to the protection and conservation of the municipal arboreal heritage, which has a recognized value within Our environmental heritage encourages the entire population to participate in the knowledge, value and conservation of our natural environment, collaborating every month in the activities of the Environmental Volunteer Program of Molina de Segura, and especially, I want to show my gratitude to all volunteers for their involvement and contribution to the dissemination of the environmental values ​​of our municipality. "

The activities of this program are held on the last Saturday of each month and are aimed at all those over 14 years old interested in the conservation of natural areas and the improvement of the municipality.
