The Molina de Segura City Council has made an investment of 243,948.03 euros in the remodeling of the Altorreal Soccer Field (22/02/2019)

The City of Molina de Segura, through the councils of Public Road, Municipal Works and Infrastructure and Citizen Participation, has carried out an investment of 243,948.03 euros in the remodeling of the Campo de Futbol de Altorreal and construction of changing rooms , whose inauguration will take place on Sunday, February 24, at 12:00.

Attending the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, accompanied by the Councilor for Public Road, Municipal Works and Infrastructure, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, and the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Pedro Jesús Martínez Baños.

Before the opening ceremony, at 11.00, two 8-a-side football matches are played, one of the Benjamin category between Altorreal and Cieza, and the second of the prebenjamín category, between Altorreal and Torreño.

At 12.00, the inauguration will take place and a local derby will be played between the Altorreal Football School and the Molina Soccer School for children, after the honor roll of the Mayor and the girl Rosario Patricia Pardo Torres, player of the Alevín team Altorreal and selected by the Regional Selection Alevín female.

The remodeling has been carried out in two phases.

In the first phase artificial turf has been provided to the field, which has a football field 11 and two football fields 8. The investment amounts to 143,518.03 euros, funded by Participatory Budgeting, and this phase concluded in October 2018 In the second phase, a first block of locker rooms was built, with an investment of 100,430 euros, charged to the municipal budget.

This block contains: locker room for local team, locker room for visiting team, locker room for referees, warehouse, boiler room and two public toilets (handicapped-female, handicapped-male).

The work has concluded this month of February.

Currently train three teams:

Football School Altorreal, with 14 teams (3 prebenjamines, 3 benjamines, 5 fry, 1 child, 1 cadet and 1 juvenile).

Rayo Molinense Féminas, with 1 senior team.

Molina Football Club, with several categories of children.
