'Fash Food' celebrates the tropical February in his appointment with Cristian Palacio (23/02/2019)

34 guests had the luck, and the hurry to reserve their place as soon as possible, to live the experience 'MERMÂO', unique, full of flavor and color in the CIFEA of Molina de Segura, specialized center in the Agroalimentary Professional Training, employee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

The menu was created and cooked by the chef Cristian Palacio, of Señorío de Barahonda restaurant, in Yecla, exclusively for this format to take the experience of his kitchen out of Yecla in an ephemeral way.

The dinner focused on the concept 'MERMÂO', trying to convey the feeling of union and joy that occurs in Brazil during the Carnival, encouraging diners to dress in tropical style, with bold touches, colorful and natural.

Products of the land offered by Makro and pairing by Estrella de Levante and wines from the Jumilla PDO prepared by sommelier Esperanza Pérez de La Gracia.

An exclusive dinner at a surprise point in zip code 30,500, from Molina de Segura.

That was the starting point for the 34 guests who had the opportunity to get their place in the fifth Fash Food experience in the Region of Murcia.

The CIFEA cocktail lounge in Molina de Segura, a center specializing in Agri-Food Professional Training, dressed in full dress and full of color and tropical motifs to make way for a unique and unrepeatable gastronomic experience.

A dance couple welcomed them to the rhythm of Brazilian melodies and a vermouth from Murcia (Bodegas Salzillo) welcome with pickles prepared by students of the center, dependent on the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

Immediately, the director of CIFEA, Pedro Angosto Cano, appeared to make known the virtues of the center, and later the chef Cristian Palacio gave free rein to the menu, designed exclusively for the experience.

Start the snacks (7 in total), where the chef offered a welcome to his creative style, mixing tradition with avant-garde with dishes like roe in semisalazón, pigeon ham and tart of their interiors or cigala with rice and soy ferment.

The dinner was attended by Miguel Ángel del Amor, Minister of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries of the Region of Murcia, who did not want to miss the opportunity to learn about the project from its protagonists, organizers and diners, and from Enjoy some of the dishes that were served during dinner.

The atmosphere generated inside the cocktail lounge of the CIFEA center, in Molina de Segura, was highlighted by the use of natural elements: fruits, plants, vegetables and flowers, to offer the feeling of dining in a tropical space full of color, rhythm and aromas.

The diners continued enjoying the evening with the desserts, where Cristian had moved the Pastry Barahonda, with different cakes (8 varieties) so that each diner stood up and chose his favorite, an opportunity that the dancers took advantage of to celebrate the end of the party with a group dance, adding a tropical conga towards the sweet table.

The 'Mermâo' experience ended with the Cachaça with Premium cocktail of Capucana from Campoluz Enoteca and celebrating the events of the day with a tropical dance rhythm.
