The Department of Equality of the City of Molina de Segura has convened the XXIV Literary Contest of Poetry and Short Story March 8 and the XX Painting Contest March 8, 2019, in compliance with the IV Plan for Equal Opportunities between Women and Mens.
The Literary Contest is aimed at women and men over 18 years of age, who were born or reside in the Region of Murcia, and try to give a gender perspective to the process of production and cultural participation.
Two modalities have been established, Poetry and Short Story, and the theme of the compositions will be Woman.
The deadline for admission of the works ends on Tuesday, April 30, at 3:00 p.m.
The following prizes are contemplated:
SHORT STORY: 1st prize, 360 euros;
2nd prize, 300 euros;
and 3rd prize, 220 euros.
POETRY: 1st prize, 360 euros;
2nd prize, 300 euros;
and 3rd prize, 220 euros.
On the other hand, in the XX Painting Competition may participate women and men over 18, who were born or reside in the Region of Murcia.
The modality of Drawing or Painting has been established, and the subject on which the works presented will be: Woman.
The deadline for admission of the works ends on Tuesday, April 30, at 3:00 p.m.
The prizes contemplated are the following: 1st prize, 720 euros;
2nd prize, 360 euros;
and 3rd prize, 180 euros.
The prizes will be given to the winners in a public ceremony that will take place on Thursday, June 6, at 8:00 pm, at the Virginia Martínez Fernández Auditorium, at the MUDEM.
