The singular flora of the saline environments will be the theme of the activities of the Visitor Information and Welcome Center of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar Salar Gordo de Molina de Segura on Sunday March 3 to celebrate the World Day of Nature The Department of the Environment proposes to the visitors a thematic route and a workshop on the adaptations of the flora of salt marshes
The Town Council of Molina de Segura has organized two new environmental activities on the occasion of World Nature Day at the Information and Welcome Center of Visitors of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar Salar Gordo on Sunday, March 3.
The center opens its doors on the first and third Sunday of each month from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, and offers information on the ecological and landscape values ​​of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar Salar Gordo.
At 10:30 a guided tour of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar will take place, to learn about the unique flora of saline environments.
It will be possible to verify the richness of species, their adaptations, as well as their ethnobotanical importance.
In addition, during the tour, participants can observe the birds of the lagoons with telescope and binoculars.
After the route, at 12.30 a workshop will be held on the adaptations of the flora of salt marshes, where the participants will know the characteristics of this unique flora.
The activity is aimed at all audiences.
Participation is free and it is not necessary to make prior registration, except for groups of more than 10 people.
It is recommended to bring water, a hat, sunscreen and comfortable clothes and shoes, as well as binoculars and a telescope if you have them.
