The Department of Crafts of the City of Molina de Segura organizes a new edition of the Craft Market Souk of the Guadalabiad, which is held on Saturday, March 2, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, in the Plaza de España.
As usual every first Saturday of the month, the souk will have artisan products such as honey and sweets, costume jewelery, brooches, esparto, toys, natural cosmetics, etc., as well as workshops where children can participate in various activities.
MERCADO DE CARNAVAL is the theme chosen for this edition, with which the souk is filled with magic and color, offering a range of handcrafted products, and inviting to participate in different fantastic activities, costume parade, dance exhibition, face painting, photocall, workshops for making costumes, drawing and fantastic crafts, etc.
The proposal of the Souk begins at 17.30, with a dance exhibition by the children of the Ana Belén Ruiz de Alguazas Dance Academy, which will delight the audience with their rhythmic dances, and will give way to the great Fantasy Parade , where all visitors who come in disguise and wish to participate will receive a gift, starting at 6:00 p.m.
After the parade, the dancers return, with whom you can share the dance area.
At the same time, the kids can also participate in the workshops, enjoy the bouncy castle or go through the stand of pintacaras to complete their disguise.
The afternoon closes with a raffle of gifts among all visitors who buy crafts, donated by local merchants: Jewelery Station, The Charcutería de Juan y Damián, Víctor Shoes, Fragrances of the World, Tacata, SM Jewelers, Jewelery Watchmaking Lorente , Garvalín and Calzados Merche.
For the celebration of the Souk, the Department of Crafts has counted on this occasion with the collaboration of Merchants Association of Molina de Segura COM-PRO, Project ABRAHAM, McDonald's and Academy of Dance Ana Belen Ruiz.
