The City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Pedanías, has carried out an investment of 16,597.54 euros in the construction of a Canine Recreation Park in the hamlet of El Llano de Molina.
The opening ceremony of the new park, as well as the presentation of other actions of the Plan of Pedanías, will take place on Saturday, March 2, at 12 noon, in the Calle de la Viña de El Llano.

The City of Molina de Segura, in its continuous commitment to the districts of the municipality, has promoted a series of projects to be carried out during this year.
The first of these, recently completed, is the Canino Recreation Park, located on Calle de La Viña de El Llano, where the municipal-owned lot has been cleaned, leveled and fenced, divided into two parts, one for recreational use, still to be defined, and the other, on which it has acted, as a recreational area for dogs, equipped with trees, plantations and different training games for animals.
In the same way, this facility has been equipped with a drinking water source that is suitable for use by animals, paper mills and all the necessary equipment for the proper use of the facilities by the neighbors.
The action has been carried out by the company Auxilias Hermón SL.
As part of the agreement signed with the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, known as the Plan of Pedanías, in the coming weeks will begin repairs in the streets of Aire and Las Martinas, awarded to the company Talleres y Conducciones Juanito SL, for an amount of 17,911.21 euros.
These works intend the execution of a new retaining wall at the end of the Calle del Aire, given the poor state in which the existing one is, with serious doubts about its future stability, in case of not acting on it, as well as the completion of Calle Las Martinas, lacking the optimal accessibility conditions as there are no sidewalks.
Given the width of this street, we have opted for the execution of a single platform, separating by type of pavement the area for pedestrians and vehicles, thus eliminating any unevenness that may reduce the accessibility of the neighbors.
Lastly, on 21 February, the announcement of the tender for some works, included in the European EDUSI Program, was published, whose purpose is to improve safety and accessibility in the school environment and the school for early childhood education of the district of El Llano.
With a bid amount of 175,565.13 euros, this work aims to pedestrianize a section of Calle Serreta, in its comparison with the entrances of both schools.
Specifically, it will be pedestrianized between Ronda de Levante and Avenida de Las Eras streets.
It will run, in the same way, a sidewalk that runs from the CEIP La Purisima to the Industrial Park La Serreta and a parking deterrent in the municipal plot adjacent to the nursery school, in order to order the parking at the hours of entry and exit of the educational centers to improve the safety of pedestrians in those hours in the environment of both centers.
Finally, the renewal of street lighting, tree planting and urban furniture in the street section to pedestrianize with the present action is also planned.
