The Hospital de Molina joins the initiative Companies for a society free of gender violence, through the signing of a protocol with the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia (CARM) to promote awareness and social awareness against the violence of gender.
The President of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, presided over an act of recognition to the 44 companies, among which is the Hospital de Molina, which have adhered to this initiative, whose objective is to promote, in the field of the Autonomous Community, social awareness against gender violence and the labor insertion of women who have suffered such violence, involving companies that carry out their activity in their territory.
The Director-Manager of Molina Hospital, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, explained that "in our hospital, we are very aware of the existing social problems and the need for greater involvement of all social agents to prevent gender-based violence. In this sense, today we materialize our commitment to the Autonomous Community, from the Hospital de Molina, to help create greater awareness of this scourge and contribute our bit to, together, build a society free of any form of violence over the woman".
By virtue of adhering to the initiative Companies for a society free of gender violence, the Hospital de Molina will actively collaborate in the dissemination of awareness and prevention campaigns that the competent regional and state authorities in the field of Equality put into action, and in the distribution of material for awareness and prevention of violence against women.
The hospital center, together with the rest of the member companies, becomes part of the Network of Companies for a Society Free of Gender Violence, existing at a national level.
