Corporation, municipal workers and citizens of Molinense observe a minute of silence in memory of the victims of terrorism (11/03/2019)

The Plaza de España, main access to the Town Hall of Molina de Segura, was the place chosen this morning, at 11.00, to keep a minute of silence in memory of the victims of terrorism, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the attacks that cost the lives of 193 people in Madrid.

The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero, along with members of the Corporation, municipal workers and citizens in general have been present at this concentration whose call has departed from the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), in coordination with the Government of Spain, at the proposal of the Ministry of the Interior, and in turn attending to a proposal from the AVT and other associations of victims.

The municipal councilor has indicated that the City of Molina de Segura wanted to remember, with this minute of silence, that tragic March 11, fifteen years ago and commented that "unreason does not take us anywhere."

Societies, Clavero added, "have to move forward with dialogue, consensus and politics".

The Mayor of Molina de Segura said that "although 15 years have passed, it is not forgotten".

One example of this is the acts, such as the one that took place today in Molina de Segura and that have taken place in all the Spanish municipalities.

Clavero concluded by stating that "such barbaries can not be repeated".
