The Cultural Association La Cruz de Torrealta, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports and Health of the City of Molina de Segura and the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, has organized the I Solidarity Race Via Crucis Torrealta, competitive test, and the I Family Senderista Route, non-competitive.
Both tests, for the benefit of DISMO, will take place on April 7, starting at 10.00 am, with departure and finish at the Plaza de Iglesia de Torrealta, where today they were presented by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the President of the Cultural Association La Cruz de Torrealta, Juana Martínez Pérez, the President of DISMO, Salvador García Fernández and the Secretary of the Cultural Association of the Cruz de Torrealta, Francisco Conesa López.
The Mayor, Esther Clavero Mira, has commented that "the popular race and the family hiking route are two clear examples of citizen involvement in the promotion of healthy living habits, initiatives arising from the Cultural Association La Cruz de Torrealta that quickly had the support and support of the Molinense City Council, which at no time has hesitated to get involved in its organization, as has also been done by the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia ".
Clavero pointed out that the initiative will help the Via Crucis de Torrealta, which takes place on the night of Holy Wednesday, be better known, and added that both City Hall and Association are still working to be declared of Regional Tourist Interest.
The Family Senderista Route will take place on a 3,800 meter circuit in a single category and the Popular Race will run on a 6,300 meter circuit in the categories Senior, Master 30, Master 35, Master 40, Master 45, Master 50, Master 55, Master 60 and Master 65.
Registration can be formalized on the website of the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia (www.famu.es).
The registration deadline is Thursday, April 4 at 11.00 p.m.
The price for the race is 8 euros (with a discount of 2 euros for federated athletes) and 5 euros for the family trekking route.
Both the race and the route have the collaboration of: UCAM, Estrella Levante, Hero Muesly, Auxiliary Conservera, Fini Sweets, Scraps "El Zorras", Cellia Napkins, Angel Hair Salon, Capel Furniture, Usapal Palets, Torrealta Neighborhood Association, Sinergia Lawyers, El Maestro Bar, El Cano Bakery, TJ Cafeteria, Cajamar, Arteluz Signs, Torrealta Irons, Pijo By Rubio Potatoes and Tejemaneje.
