The Environmental Volunteering Program Volunteers Naturally !, promoted by the Department of the Environment of the Molina de Segura City Council, offers a planting activity for native species in the Vicente Blanes Ecological Park, which will take place on Saturday, March 30, at 10.00

Volunteers who participate in this activity will have the opportunity to collaborate in the reforestation of a place of great environmental importance, such as the Vicente Blanes Ecological Park.

A brief training will be imparted about the main native flora species that make up the ecosystem of this natural space to later carry out a planting of the same in those areas of the park selected by the technical staff of the Department of the Environment.

This activity is part of the activities that commemorate the World Forest Day and that aim to remember the importance of the forests and ecosystems that they harbor throughout the world.

According to the Councilor for the Environment, Juan Alcaide Quirós, "with this activity of the Environmental Volunteering Program, the citizens of Molina de Segura can contribute to the protection and conservation of the natural ecosystems of Molina de Segura and, this time , on the occasion of the celebration of World Forestry Day, highlighting the importance of carrying out this type of action to stop deforestation and restore degraded landscapes.I encourage all the population to participate in knowledge, value and conservation of our natural environment, collaborating every month in the activities of the Environmental Volunteering Program of Molina de Segura, and especially, I want to thank all the volunteers for their involvement and contribution to the dissemination of the environmental values ​​of our municipality".

The activities of this program are held on the last Saturday of each month and are aimed at all those over 14 years old interested in the conservation of natural areas and the improvement of the municipality.
