Under the guiding principle "Skills for a healthy coexistence in Molina de Segura", from April 1 to 7, the XIII Week of Health, Education and Sport will be developed, promoted by the Molina de Segura City Council, the Molina Hospital and the health centers of the municipality, with gastronomic days of healthy food, conferences, workshops and exhibitions.
In the act of presentation, held this morning in the Plenary Hall of the Molinense Consistory - with the presence of the second Deputy Mayor of Molina de Segura, Angel Navarro, the Councilor for Education, Fuensanta Martínez, and the coordinators of the Health Centers of the municipality, Emilio Macanás Pérez and Juan Francisco Menárguez Puche -, the Manager of the Hospital de Molina, Pedro Hernández Jiménez, stressed that "one more year, the Hospital de Molina collaborates in the celebration of the Week of Health, Education and Sports of our municipality, with the aim of disclosing healthy habits, promoting health and preventing pathologies.Thus, during the next few days, we will particularly focus on the health of the youngest, to whom our health staff will go to offer them the information and sufficient resources with the aim of acquiring healthy habits in their relationships with others, preventing diseases, infections and addiction
And we will promote the improvement of the health of all citizens, through health checks and healthy advice to all the people who pass through our stand at the Health Forum.
In addition, in this new edition, we will continue to contribute our grain of sand to help raise awareness, raise awareness and mobilize citizens in their commitment to diversity. "
Within the framework of this Week, the Health Forum will also be held, whose inauguration will take place next Thursday, April 4.
And a day later, on Friday, April 5, will be held the ceremony of delivery of the IX Dr. Francisco Guirado Award in recognition of those professionals, people and associations of the world of health that have stood out for their work in benefit of the municipality of Molina of Segura.
As in previous editions, the Hospital de Molina will carry out general assessments of the state of health (blood pressure, glucose test, measurement of body mass, cholesterol, etc.) and offer healthy advice to all citizens who pass through your stand.
