The open day of information and communication related to the support of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) that finances various actions of the Molina 2020 Avanza Contigo Strategy, promoted by the Molina de Segura Town Council, takes place today, Wednesday, April 3, at 8:00 pm, at the Social Center of San Roque (on Calle Mayor).

The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, and the Councilor for European Projects, Concepción Orenes Hernández, attend.

The day is open to all citizens.

This session is part of the information and communication work carried out by the European Projects Department (which, by Spanish and European regulations, is required) on ERDF support.

In it, in addition to attending the request of different neighborhood associations, will discuss the actions of the ERDF in the city of Molin and the development of the Molina 2020 Avanza Contigo Strategy.

There will be the intervention of the architect who, since January 2019, has been working on relevant interventions in the southern area of ​​Molina de Segura that can be financed with the ERDF (Center for Social Innovation and Training El Matadero), the Mediterranean Park and the interpretation of climate change, and connections between neighborhoods and areas of the southern zone).

The actions financed by the ERDF in Molina de Segura aim to move towards sustainable development, promote a low carbon economy, better use of information technologies, make better use of natural resources and heritage and promote social inclusion.

The Official State Bulletin published on December 18, 2018 the Resolution of December 10 of the State Secretariat of Budgets and Expenditures, by which the ERDF grants are assigned to co-finance the strategies in 80% of Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development (EDUSI), in which the Molina 2020 Avanza Contigo municipal strategy is selected as the recipient of ERDF assistance for an amount of 10,000,000 euros.
