The City of Molina de Segura has organized two new environmental activities in the Visitor Information and Welcome Center of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar Salar Gordo on Sunday April 7, a tour of these lagoons to discover their beginnings and how they have come to be included in the Natural Network 2000 of Europe as an area of ​​special protection for birds, a unique protection in the municipality of Molina de Segura.
The center opens its doors on the first and third Sunday of each month from 10:00 to 14:00 hours, and offers information on the ecological and landscape values ​​of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar Salar Gordo.
At 10:30 a guided tour will take place about the history of Las Lagunas de Campotéjar, following the signposted path of the space and making different stops, where the origin of these lagoons will be known, as well as their protection and the importance they have at a regional level and worldwide.
During the route, attendees can observe the birds of space through telescopes and binoculars.
After the route, at 12:30 a field notebooks workshop will be held, in which attendees can make their own notebook with notes of flora, fauna and other information of interest, which can be taken home.
You will learn what information is important for the completion of the notebook.
The activity is aimed at all ages.
Participation is free and it is not necessary to make prior registration, except for groups of more than 10 people.
It is recommended to bring water, hat, sunscreen and comfortable clothes and shoes.
