The Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, along with the Second Deputy Mayor, Ángel Navarro García, and the Councilor for Economic Development, José de Haro González, made, on Thursday, April 4, an institutional visit to the facilities from the Molinense company Fini Golosinas España SLU, located on Avenida de la Industria, on the old N-301 road.
After making a tour of the facilities, the Mayor and council members learned first-hand the construction project of the expansion of the Industrial Wastewater Treatment Station (EDARI), which will be a reality in a short time after the approval of the municipal license by the Local Government Board of the Molina de Segura City Council last February.
This is an aerobic transformation in anaerobic technology with Biopaq IC and biological activated sludge, expanding capacity, reducing costs and respecting the environment.
The company Fini Golosinas España SLU, with more than 50 years of experience, and being the largest Spanish company in the manufacture and distribution of sweets, is going to undertake the construction of an industrial wastewater treatment plant at its plant in Molina de Segura, with object to increase the capacity of your debugging system.
Said EDARI will have a purification capacity of practically twice the production it currently produces.
The current EDARI of the society consists of a main slab, with a rotomiz, homogenization, physical-chemical treatment, biological and secondary CAF.
The extension of the current treatment consists in a solid and reliable solution for the treatment of the discharges, adding a new anaerobic reactor of type IC (internal circulation), of high technology.
The technology will be installed by the company Cadagua, a subsidiary of Ferrovial, and comes from the Netherlands.
It will have a capacity of 300 m3 per day, with an investment of around one million euros.
The reactor of the new treatment plant will have a height of 20 meters, the second of its kind in the Region of Murcia.
There are only 25 reactors of this type in Spain, normally destined to paper, beer and food companies.
The Fini Golosinas España SLU group is a purely Spanish company, national leader, with facilities of 125,000 m2 in Molina de Segura, factory in Jundiaí, Brazil, since 2002, plus delegations in France, Portugal, United Kingdom, Chile and the United States, in addition to throughout Spain, and presence in 80 countries.
It reaches all audiences, with a market segment that fluctuates between 32% and 62% of the total, depending on the product, with a production capacity of 80,000 tons, more than 200,000 kilos per day.
Among its production lines are rubber, gelatin, foam, licorice or chewing gum, with standard items such as strawberries, clouds, melons, tongues or stuffed pica.
There are already 1,400 employees who occupy, making quality and innovation, main constants of its commercial policy.
One of its latest additions is its own chain of franchises open throughout Spain and Latin America, with stores designed as a candy factory, through striking mechanisms with dispensers, cranks and gears, which allow you to select treats, in a masterful mix of scenery between the house of Hansel and Grettel, and Charly and the chocolate factory.
The company also plans to build a new ship to increase production, which will be located next to the old N-301 road.
