The Palm Sunday Procession, organized by the Confraternity of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus in Jerusalem of Molina de Segura, is celebrated on March 25, at 6.30 pm, departing from the Church of San Vicente Mártir de Molina de Segura .
They will parade the images of: Triumphal Entry, by Mariano Spiteri;
San Juan, by the molinense sculptor Bernabé Gil;
and Our Lady of Hope, the work of the Murcian sculptor José Hernández Navarro.
The Confraternity of the Triumphal Entrance of Jesus in Jerusalem is based in the Church of San Vicente Mártir de Molina de Segura.
Its members wear tunics and white gloves, green cape, sash and cornet, and black shoes.
The approximately 400 Nazarenes that will participate in the processional parade will wear this year a new sash with the anagram of the brotherhood.
The procession will make the usual route, leaving from the Plaza de San Vicente Mártir.
Then it will run through Calle Serrerías, Avenida de Madrid, Calle Mayor, Plaza Región Murciana, Paseo Rosales, Calle Estación, Calle Mayor, Avenida de Madrid and Calle Serrerías, to end up again in the Plaza de San Vicente Mártir.
OTHER ACTS SCHEDULED FOR THE WEEKEND
Today, Friday, April 12, at 10:00 pm, coinciding with the celebration of Friday of Sorrows, will take place the Penitential Procession with the image of Our Father Jesus Nazareno.
The procession in Via Crucis will leave from the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and will cross the streets of the old part of the city to finish again in the square of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption.
At the end of this procession, at 11.00 pm, the Illustrious Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Sorrows carries out the procession of the Virgin of Sorrows from the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption to the Hermitage of San Roque.
Tomorrow, Saturday, April 13, at 19:45 in the Church of Our Lady of Remedies of the hamlet of La Torrealta Molinense, reading the opening of the Holy Week of La Torrealta 2019, by the Hospitality Counsel of Lourdes in Murcia, Luis Emilio Pascual Molina.
Tomorrow, Saturday April 13, at 8:00 pm, the Hermitage of San Roque will host the Mass and the act of imposing badges on new brothers and the Nazarene Gold Badge of the Year of the Illustrious Brotherhood of the Most Holy Christ of Sorrows.
