Within the framework of the 3rd Traditions Fair, dedicated to the Cradle of Vegetable Preservation, the Molina de Segura Town Council celebrates the act of awarding distinctions to the founders and actors of the world of vegetable preservation, today, Friday, May 3 , at 7:00 p.m., in the Municipal Plenary Hall.
Attending the Mayor of the town, Esther Clavero Mira, the Councilor for Industrial Development, José de Haro González, and Councilman of Crafts, Andrés Martínez Cervantes.
The municipality of Molinense, through this institutional act, wants to give a meaningful recognition to all the parties involved in the canning miracle that took place in the municipality, essentially during the years 60 to 80 of the last century.
The local institution, although aware of its delay in such well-deserved tribute, wants to make clear its eternal gratitude to the people, companies and entities that encumbraron a purely agrarian municipality, transforming it, based on much tenacity, entrepreneurship and effort, in the city what is today
And all this through a clear example of hospitality to the thousands of workers and workers who from many other peoples emigrated to Molina de Segura, achieving a social peace rarely achieved in the whole of the municipalities of Spain.
