The company Fini Golosinas invites its workers and family members to an awareness-raising activity to improve the environment of Molina de Segura, which consists of reforesting a place of environmental importance such as the Vicente Blanes Ecological Park, managed by the Department of the Environment of the Molinense City Council, which will take place on Saturday, May 11.
The activity is part of the program of conservation actions of the Vicente Blanes Ecological Park, which, among its objectives, has the involvement of social agents in its improvement.
Fini Golosinas has, within its purposes, the protection of the environment and sustainable development and, from its Department of the Environment, promotes the participation of its employees in voluntary actions for the improvement of the natural environment.
They will be planted around 200 plants, among pines, carob trees, holm oaks, mastic trees, black hawthorn, white cistus, juniper, lavender, rosemary and kermes oak.
Prior to planting, workers and relatives will receive information on the environmental values ​​of the Park and the importance of the action in which they will collaborate to prevent erosion, improve air quality and mitigate the effects of climate change.
They will also know the species of native plants that they are going to plant and the correct way to carry out the planting.
Later, it will proceed to carry out the planting in the areas of the Park indicated by the technical staff of the Department of the Environment, who will also supervise the work during its development.
The Councilor for the Environment, Juan Alcaide Quirós, declares his "public recognition of the initiative of the company for its commitment and involvement in the protection and conservation of the natural ecosystems of Molina de Segura, and I thank the participating workers their collaboration and I hope that, after the experience, they contribute to the diffusion of the environmental values ​​of our municipality ".
