Stories from a future city will take place on Friday, May 24, at 8:00 pm, at the Salvador García Aguilar Library (at Avenida del Chorrico, n ° 44), as part of the Molina de Segura Book Spring 2019 program, organized by the Department of Culture of the town council.
The following spoke: Fulgencio García García, Conchi González, Juan José Valle-Inclán and Nieves Sevilla, co-authors of the book.
Magerit is an anthology of science fiction stories that takes as a starting point a city of Madrid partially flooded, four hundred years in the future.
After the Water Wars, Madrid was renamed Magerit, its original name meaning "built on water".
Magerit is a survivor and, through ten stories, tell the stories of those who inhabit it over the centuries.
Lives that are developed in the old subway tunnels or in modern towers of impossible heights.
Lives trapped in the human obsession to control everything.
People who still move for love, scientific experiments and realities of spatial colonization.
We all still have a place in Magerit.

Tales from a future city is published by Verbum publishing house and five members of the Primaduroverales association participate: Nieves Sevilla Nohales, Francisco Plaza, Juan Jose Valle-Inclan, Julio Rodriguez and Manuel Pozo Gómez, and five other authors outside the association : Elena Fernández Ruiz, Fulgencio García, David Grande, Patricia Jiménez and Conchi González Catalán.
The cover is the work of Gonzalo Valle-Inclán and the prologue of Santiago Eximeno.
Both have contributed their work to get Magerit.
