9 young people from the IES Eduardo Linares in Molina de Segura (Murcia) create and represent in their institute the play "La fiesta".

The idea of using theater as an instrument of dissemination and awareness about the issues addressed by the project, the prevention of gender violence and the construction of non-violent masculinities among adolescents, emerged from the group itself that for several weeks have been looking for creative ways to express their ideas, feelings and emotions after a long journey of months of workshops within the Equix European Project of the Cepaim Foundation.

As part of the national dissemination campaign of the Equix Project of Cepaim Foundation, this morning the theater play La Fiesta was presented at the Eduardo Linares IES in Molina de Segura (Murcia).

This work has been created and represented by seven students and two students of 3 of the ESO of this institute.

The idea of using theater as an instrument of dissemination and awareness about the issues addressed by the project, the prevention of gender violence and the construction of non-violent masculinities among adolescents, emerged from the group itself that for several weeks have been looking for creative ways to express their ideas, feelings and emotions after a long journey of months of workshops.

For the first time, on May 22, 2019, they wanted to share the play with other young people, the Equix Project participants, @equixProject, in Alzira (Valencia).

A very enriching experience of exchange and mutual learning.

Today they represented La Fiesta again in front of about 100 people, counting this time with the 3rd and 4th year students of the ESO of the IES and the whole school community as a public.

The representation was complemented with a time of later debate on the work and the themes and ideas that were addressed in it.

A very interesting debate on various topics, including the toxic relationships and the attitudes of the people who are close to the situation that is reflected in the work;

one of the students commented in her speech that she "would help her friend until she realized that the relationship she had was toxic".
