During the whole day yesterday, Wednesday, May 29, the Hospital de Molina has celebrated its 19th anniversary with a day full of informative health activities, which has been held at the Enclave Museum of the MUDEM Wall, and which has been inaugurated by the Acting Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the General Director of Public Health and Functional Addictions of the CARM, José Carlos Vicente López, and the Manager of the Molina Hospital, Pedro Hernández Jiménez.
Hernández Jiménez explained that "with this day, we want to contribute to empower the patient and give him the prominence that corresponds to him in the health system, which is why our anniversary is part of our Health Promotion and Dissemination Program, which we develop in the scope of Corporate Social Responsibility of our Hospital, and with which we intend to collaborate in the humanization of health ".
Subsequently, the Health Care Director of the CARM, Manuel Villegas García, visited the "Health and Solidarity" stands, located in the MUDEM Plaza, giving visibility to the work and activities carried out by the different organizations social services with which the Hospital de Molina maintains a close collaboration: Fundación Ambulancia del Deseo, ASPAPROS, Murcia Psychosocial Rehabilitation Association (ISOL), ASSIDO, ASTRADE, DOCUVIVA (FEYCSA), Solidarity Surgery, Red Cross, Cáritas, AECC, AFESMO, Council of Organic Agriculture of the Region of Murcia (CAERM), Bread Workshop La Subirana and NaturGreen.
During the anniversary day, different activities have been developed, such as:
The second #ForoComSalud, in collaboration with the Official College of Journalists of the Region of Murcia, on Nutrition and the media: information or disinformation ?, which includes a round table with media professionals and a #Healthy Show to charge of the nutritionist of the Hospital de Molina, Rebeca Pastor Valero My Personal Food.
Improv & Grow Up: a motivational talk using improvisation and creativity, aimed at the health field.
Conference of the FEM, by Dr. José Manuel Rodríguez González (Head of the Endocrine Surgery Unit of the University Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca, Researcher of the IMIB and Specialist in General Surgery and Gastroenterology of the Service of Surgery of the Hospital de Molina) : From genetics to the operating room.

The Hospital de Molina has also delivered its Institutional Awards, with which each year it recognizes those institutions and organizations that have collaborated closely with the hospital center to improve their daily care activity.
This year, the recognition has been double:
o To the Superior Police Headquarters of the Region of Murcia, for their commitment in the prevention of aggressions against the personnel of the Hospital de Molina (they have received the Cirilo Durán Reguero Award, Chief of Police of the Region of Murcia, and Manuel Buitrago Camacho , Sanitary territorial police interlocutor).
o To the Official College of Nursing of the Region of Murcia, for their support to the nursing group of the Hospital de Molina (they have collected the Manuel García Sánchez Award and Eduardo Estrella Acacio, President and Secretary of the Official College of Nursing of the Region of Murcia, respectively).
