The program of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the IES Vega del Táder de Molina de Segura, which this educational center has prepared for the next school year, has been presented at a press conference on Wednesday, July 24, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council from the locality.
The presentation was attended by the Mayor of Molina de Segura, Esther Clavero Mira, the Director of the IES Vega del Táder, José Antonio Tornel Aguilar, the Secretary of the IES Vega del Táder, Pedro Corbalán Botía, and the Head of Studies of the IES Vega del Táder, Puri Rodríguez Campillo.
In 2019, the IES Vega del Táder turns 50.
Throughout this time, the institute has become one of the most important educational references in our area and has trained numerous generations of young people as an innovative and multicultural center.
"Coming years is an excuse for the meeting and celebration. Meeting with all people: students, teachers, non-teaching staff, fathers and mothers who, in one way or another, have participated in a work as rewarding as teaching", explains its current director, José Antonio Tornel.
"Our intention will be to develop, throughout the 2019-2020 course, a whole series of activities that allow us to commemorate that 50th anniversary of our center as it really deserves. Various competitions, conferences, colloquiums, exhibitions, talks will be scheduled. they will organize popular races and concerts. And we hope that all this will be included in a magazine and in a video that will be published for the memory, while the next anniversary of this Táder, a cultural reference, "adds the director of the center.
ACTIVITIES
Each month, one or more different knowledge subjects will be dedicated, around which the different planned appointments will revolve, an ambitious program that has the involvement of all the people who feel the center as the backbone:
CONFERENCES-TALKS
Each month, a conference will be held on a theme of culture, history, ethnography, environment, medicine, psychology, related to the subject matter of which at that time it was proposed.
In each case, it is intended that the speaker be an expert in the subject matter offered, trained in the classrooms of the center.
This fact will also connect with the present, because it will be attempted to be imbriqued with the Program that has just been granted to promote talent.
"That our students learn by listening to professionals who have trained in our classrooms is an axis that should honor us," says Tornel.
And for this, it will have the close collaboration with the Medical Studies Foundation of Molina de Segura (FEM), which will organize conferences with prestigious scientists and professionals, such as Ignacio Martínez Mendizábal, Elías Campo GĂĽerri, Avelino Corma Canós, Mateo Valero Cortés and Luis Gutierrez Rojas.
ROUND TABLES
This anniversary cannot be understood without surrounding oneself with people who have passed through the IES.
Not only in what refers to the students, but also, to the teachers who left their teaching.
Thus, topics will be opened in discussion forums, tables of current topics in education, passed through the sieve of experience.
"And so, we will learn from those who know more than us, shared with those we now have learning."
EXHIBITIONS AND VIDEOS
It is intended to investigate, collect, with the collaboration of all people who can, graphic, didactic, work, painting material, to expose it and thus have a global vision of the work done by members of the center in these 50 years.
COMPETITIONS, SPORTS EVENTS, CONCERTS
For the dissemination of the events of the fiftieth anniversary, different poster, logo, micro-story and micro-poetry competitions have been raised, which have as their theme the experiences lived in the center and that encourage active participation and knowledge of the activities that are expected to be carried out.
These contests will be publicized in July, to be defined in September and, thus, start the activities, which will take place at the official opening of the 50th anniversary on October 1, 2019, the day of the opening of the course in 1969.
The theater must also have a place in the program of events.
The IES has been characterized for hosting important works in its Assembly Hall and in its courtyard and for representing, with students and teachers who will try to bring back, leading works in the dramatic panorama.
In addition, a popular career will connect the citizens of Molina de Segura with the IES.
It will have a solidary character and the maximum number of participants is expected, in a day of festive sport.
You can't forget the music.
Great musicians, concert performers, dancers, singers, have populated their classrooms.
And the center wants them to show their art in the different concerts they plan to offer.
The final act will be held in June, if you can, with a meal that brings together as many people as possible, to say goodbye, with a flourish, the acts of this important celebration.
To carry out a project as outstanding as this one, the involvement of all people linked to the IES is necessary: ​​Management Team, non-teaching staff, teachers, students, AMPA, parents.
An attempt will be made to create an Association, both of former students and former teachers, so that subsidies and grants can be requested from different institutional bodies, such as the Ministry of Education and the City of Molina de Segura, private entities, as well as all the companies in the area that want to collaborate.
