The City of Molina de Segura, through the Municipal Business Office, made an institutional visit on Wednesday, July 24, to meet first hand the Molinese company Conservas Sandoval SL, located in the Business Area of ​​El Fenazar, next to kilometer 7.5 of the RM-411 Highway from Fortuna to Archena and the Saeco company.
The meeting was attended by the Councilor for Economic Promotion and Strategy, José de Haro González, and the head of the Municipal Business Office, Santiago Pastor Palazón, who have been attended by the manager of the company, José Miguel Vicente Sandoval.
The veteran company, belonging to the agri-food sector, specializing in tomato and pumpkin fillings, was founded in 1951 by the popular and versatile José Sandoval Bernal, of the city's famous family of musicians and sacristans.

In 2009, the company moved its facilities to the north of the city, on a plot of 22,000 m2 next to the family of Cartonajes Saeco, where it raises 7,500 m2 of industrial buildings.
The canning is specialized in products with high added value, such as homemade stir-fry, tomato and pepper fries, fried tomato or onion, or pastry fillings.
Similarly, make angel hair, fried vegetables with tuna, fried spinach, zarangollo, scalded, fried tomato with cod, apple jelly, strawberry fillings for pastry or different custom stir-fry.
It manufactures the products from its vegetable raw material until its integral transformation in the finished article, having the tomato and pumpkin as the high season.
He works a lot with clients for a second transformation, serving top-level companies such as Panrico, Bimbo, La Cocinera or Dulcesol.
In recent years it has had a special impact on the quality of the elaborated products, gaining a very positive national fame, cooking in the traditional style but in huge tools such as 200 kilos tipping pots.
Currently most of the manufacturing is absorbed by the Spanish market, minus 10% that is exported to Portugal.
The factory provides fixed employment to 20 workers, and eventually another half hundred workers.
It has adopted the UNE-ISO 9001 and 9002 quality systems, as well as the APTC system of critical points that anticipates production problems.
The available formats range from cans of 220 grams to aseptic drums of 200 kilos, through boxes of 25 kilos and buckets of 13, or 6 kilos boats.
The annual production is around 2,000 tons and the turnover exceeds 4 million euros.
It operates under the brands SANDOVAL, HISPANIA, ROKY and GYG.
The City of Molina de Segura has offered the firm the comprehensive services of the Business Office, municipal business service.
Likewise, he has given him help and advice to finish urbanizing the industrial sector where he is located, and has informed him of the new denomination that his road will have, baptizing José Sandoval Avenue.
Finally, the town hall has given the company a small commemorative detail of the Business Office, as an image that evokes the economic revival of the city, while being very proud to host such a veteran industry in its municipality and such proportions of wealth, employment and social.
