The second phase of the works to reinforce the road sign of the business areas of Molina de Segura have resumed this week with the asphalting work of the Industrial Estate of the Serreta Este (formerly left bank), an action that was awarded, for an amount of 22,385 euros, to the company Constuarchena SL
These works are framed within a package that also contemplated similar actions, already carried out, in La Polvorista and El Tapiado and which together represent a municipal investment of 66,276.54 euros, saving for the municipal coffers 8,723.46 euros, which has been the cancellation made in the contracts for all three projects.
After 2,789 m2 in which it is going to intervene on this occasion, the total area on which it is going to act is 8,438 m², the most urgent and important areas of intervention being designated by the municipal technical services.
Among them is the service road of the National Highway 301, the Avenida de la Industrias, and the streets Africa, Jamaica, Gabriel Campillo, Montevideo, Teruel and Gerona.
These works are framed within the surveillance and improvement of industrial estates that is being carried out by the Business Office of the City of Molina de Segura, reviewing the industrial areas of the term, controlling their deficiencies and solving their problems.
The existence of multiple potholes, cuddles, cracks and holes in the vials of the municipal estates was one of the major concerns of Molinense entrepreneurs.
Therefore, this start marks a before and after in the treatment of industrial areas of Molina de Segura, where it is going to act before the end of the year with another third phase, which will be hired predictably in October.
The investment item for this new phase will be approximately 50,000 euros.
The City of Molina de Segura has planned other actions that are already contracted, awarded or executed, within the industrial areas of the municipality, to encourage its updating and its economic and social development.
Some of these actions, with municipal investments of more than 100,000 euros, are the lighting of the Carretera de Campotéjar in the City of Transport, the placement of more than 100 vertical traffic signs, the arrangement and interior lighting of the entrance roundabout to La Estrella, the withdrawal of 36 abandoned vehicles in the polygons, the new street lighting in 8 streets of different polygons, or the design of conceptualization and corporate images of the 8 Molinense industrial estates.
Likewise, many other actions foreseen in the "Strategic Study and Comprehensive Diagnosis of Needs, Deficiencies and Deficiencies of the Industrial Areas of the municipal area of ​​Molina de Segura and 230 solution proposals", prepared by the Office of Companies of the City Council from Molina de Segura.
Among them is the parking arrangement in La Estrella, the repainting of more than 120 zebra crossings, the cleaning of bushes on the sidewalks and ditches of the polygons, the construction of several roundabouts, the unfolding of vials, the wrapping of 1,200 meters of sidewalks, the extension of the frequency of street cleaning, the arrangement of gardening and medians of the N-301a, the renaming of streets and the placement of new plates, the paving of 12,000 m² of roads in polygons, the replacement of fences and railings, the installation of new public lighting in 7 kilometers of streets, new road signs, in addition to other actions in infrastructure of electricity, signage or paving.
Molina de Segura currently has 6 industrial estates, plus another 2 in execution, and another 2 under study, in addition to 20 isolated business areas, being industrial power of the Spanish Southeast, with 4,977 companies located and 5 million m² of industrial land consolidated.
Therefore, the importance of the industry and the services of the municipality is vital.
The industries of Molina de Segura annually invoice an average of 1 million euros, and there is a company based on every 22 inhabitants, one of the largest business concentrations in the country.
This makes it possible for the municipality to have the highest per capita income in the Region, with 27,000 gross euros per capita, and a municipal GDP of around 5,000 million euros.
The figures of Molina are overwhelming, with the existence of 3,600 employers, a workforce of 36,000 workers, or 14 of the hundred largest Murcia companies in its term.
The Councilor for Promotion and Economic Strategy, José de Haro, said that "the Business Office is an innovative proposal in Molina de Segura whose objective is the full employment and welfare of the neighbors through the creation and improvement of companies of the municipality as an engine of economic development and social improvement.
