A total of 24 students of 1st ESO of the IES Eduardo Linares Lumeras de Molina de Segura will be the lucky ones to travel to Madrid and Castilla La Mancha, between October 13 and 19, as participants in the Scientific, Artistic and Artistic Routes program. Literary
There they will coincide with another center of the Valencian Community to share experiences on the route. Where the roads coincide: an encounter with Don Quijote and Sancho, an activity promoted and financed by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training.
The two centers will carry out a cultural exchange, with an exhibition about their places of origin, location, culture, customs, environmental situation and about their contribution to the scientific and cultural advances of our country.
When documenting these issues, students have the collaboration of the City of Molina de Segura, through the Department of Culture, which has made available all necessary resources and materials.
Santiago Pastor has also been involved, whose book Dynamism and Vanguard will serve as a source of information to students about the evolution of the Molinense company.
This initiative seeks, among other things, to encourage coexistence and part of the teaching team of the IES Molinense, promoted by the professor of Spanish Language and Literature Pilar Vicente.
Participating students will be selected in the coming days and have, in Vicente's words, "an exciting experience, a unique way of learning on the ground, a coexistence with different and exciting activities".
Some of the activities planned during the Route will be: visit the Reina Sofía Museum, the Prado Museum, the Archaeological Museum, the Ruidera Lagoons, the Corral de Comedias de Almagro, Consuegra and its famous Windmills, the Greco House Museum , the production plant of the Danone company or an artisan cheese factory.
