The City of Molina de Segura, invited by the Directorate General of the European Union of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, has recently participated in the fourth meeting of the Group of regional stakeholders of the European project Our Way, within the Interreg Europe program.
This project aims to help preserve and promote the development of natural and cultural heritage in Europe through the use of greenways.
Within the Our Way project, it is planned to have an Action Plan within one year, which will include actions and tools for governance, promotion and conservation.
Due to the situation of La Vía Verde del Noroeste in Molina de Segura, this project is a great opportunity for its enhancement and to generate synergies in different areas.
At the meeting, which was attended by the Director General of the European Union, the Manager of the Consortium of Greenways and representatives of various municipalities and entities, on behalf of the City of Molina de Segura, with the presence of the technician responsible for Commerce , Handicrafts and Tourism, Consuelo García Cano, and the coordinator of European Projects, Antonio Gomariz Pastor.
