The City of Molina de Segura has made an investment of 200,602.11 euros in the construction of a new park in the hamlet of La Torrealta, whose inauguration took place today Thursday, December 5, in front of CEIP Ntra. Ms. of the Remedies.
The First Deputy Mayor of Molina de Segura, Ángel Navarro García, the Councilor for Public Roads, Parks and Gardens, Fuensanta Martínez Jiménez, and the Pediatric Mayor of La Torrealta, Santacruz Meseguer Ramón, attended.
The works have been financed through the Participatory Budgets of 2017. This is a new infrastructure, on an area of ​​4,100 square meters, where a new park has been obtained that has a children's area of ​​150 square meters and a small sports practice track of 144 square meters, made on artificial grass, where the little ones can play the ball, and an area dedicated to the elderly, with biosaludables games for outdoor exercise.
The area of ​​stay has a total area of ​​2,100 square meters, the rest of the area being slopes and green areas.
The park has lighting using LED-type projectors, street furniture and a good number of trees that will contribute to the creation of shade.
The action was agreed in several meetings with the neighbors, so the participatory process was carried out from beginning to end, from the choice of the proposal to the final design.
Thus, a park has been obtained in accordance with the needs and concerns of the neighbors, carried out by the companies QUARTO PROYECTOS and CONSTU ARCHENA.
